Recently Joe Rogan hosted Lex Fridman. Fridman describes himself as a Judo and BJJ Guy and he also has a scientific background:
“I spend almost all my time to do research in computer science, and whatever free time is left I spend training in judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. It’s a grappling martial art that’s often referred to as the game of human chess. It challenges me physically and mentally.”
When it comes to martial arts Lex Friedman has an interesting philosophy:
“Continuous effort – not strength or intelligence – is the key to unlocking our potential.” – Winston Churchill
“Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and wrestling those are absolute martial arts. They’re the hardest… You have control of the body. There are no lucky triangle chokes. My experience with Jiu-Jitsu was very humbling… is the truest martial art. ”
Listen to the rest of the chat between Lex Fridman and Joe Rogan as it’s a very interesting chat about all kind of martial arts, their effectiveness and everything that martial arts can offer to you.
